Dr. L. Layne Drgac is a graduate of Texas A&M University, class of 1994. He attended dental school in Houston where he graduated from The University of Texas Dental Branch of Houston in 1998. He has been practicing in Caldwell since 1999, first as an associate, and now as a partner in Caldwell Dental Associates is a member of the Brazos Valley District Dental Society, the Texas Dental Association, the American Dental Association, and the Academy of General Dentistry.

Dr. Drgac has a beautiful wife, Nicki, and three lovely children, Dylan, Daleigh, and Delayni. Nicki is a teacher at Caldwell High School, where she graduated as the valedictorian in 1991.

Dr. Drgac's family is originally from the Caldwell area. His grandparents owned and operated a dairy in Cooks Point. Dr. Drgac was born in Caldwell, but grew up in Cameron, just 30 miles away. He moved back to Burleson County after graduating from Yoe High School in Cameron in 1990, and lived in Cooks Point while he attended A&M. This family history explains why he feels such a special bond to the people of this area.

Dr. Drgac is most excited about providing quality care to his patients right here in Burleson County. He says, "There's no need to drive to a larger city for dentistry anymore. We have all the latest technology right here in our office."

Dr. Joe C. (Chuck) Majors, III was raised and graduated from Bridge City High School in 1974 where he excelled in sports and was the senior class president. He then attended Lamar University in Beaumont, Texas, where he worked and participated in many extracurricular activities. He earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in 1977.

As a second-generation dentist, Dr. Majors grew up in and around dentistry. His father practiced dentistry for 39 years. It was determined at a young age he would pursue dentistry. He attended the University of Texas Dental Branch in Houston, where he graduated in 1982. With respect to his career in dentistry, Dr. Majors has made an enormous investment and commitment to providing his patient's excellence in dentistry. He has been trained at some of the finest, most prestigious post-graduate programs available today. He holds a fellowship in the Academy of General Dentistry and the International Congress for Oral Implantology. He is also a member of some 6 plus professional organizations in dentistry.

Though dentistry has played a large role in Chuck's life he finds most of his happiness and true success is derived from his family. A commitment to family is what brought him and his wife, JoAn (also involved in the dental field some 20 years) to Caldwell. After practicing in Bridge City and Boerne for more than 15 years, he chose Caldwell to be near his three daughters. Nothing more, nothing less, he chose his family. His daughters were living in College Station at that time; however, he and his wife both from small towns chose Caldwell. Dr. Majors is blessed with four wonderful children, Kelli, Katy, Stacy and J.C. IV. He and his family now call Burleson County home.
